USAID Funded Adult Female Literacy Program

With the support of USAID through its Small Grants and Ambassador’s Fund Program, Shakarganj Foundation initiated the Adult Female Literacy Program across five Union Councils in District Jhang. The foundation successfully established 150 Adult Literacy Centers and achieved its goal of providing functional literacy and basic numeracy skills to 3,750 women during an 11-month intensive program.

Implantation of Artificial Limbs Program 2008 – Present
HEALTHCARE RELIEF

Implantation of Artificial Limbs Program

Initiated on February 26, 2008, with initial technical support from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Muzaffarabad (AJK). Entirely funded by Chairman Mian Altaf M. Saleem, this ongoing rehabilitation initiative has provided free prosthetics and mobility restoration to over 249 patients to date.
