Preserving Heritage & Enabling Financial Independence
Shakarganj Foundation adopted the Jhang Art Gallery in 2001 to nurture artistic talent and provide practical livelihood skills to the youth of District Jhang. Courses in Fine Arts and Fashion Designing are offered year-round, equipping students—especially young women—with the technical mastery needed to earn a dignified living from home. To date, over 6,250 students have graduated from this institution.
Fine Arts Program
Students receive comprehensive hands-on training in fine arts, covering oil and acrylic painting, pottery, ceramics, glass and tile work, sculpture building, and classical Arabic/Urdu calligraphy.
Arts and crafts produced by the students are proudly displayed at an Annual Exhibition held at District Council Jhang every year, where outstanding students are awarded prizes and official certificates for their creativity and hard work.
